iSolve Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Hi All, It's an error which I have heard quietly mentioned around the forums, but one which I am yet to find a definitive answer for... Sharing a Database via Customer Web Publishing, server running FileMaker Unlimited 5. Users occasionally get an error message stating "Socket Not Connected" or something of that nature. I have no idea as to the cause of this error, nor any remedial action I can take. Anyone? Luke
Leb i Sol Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 "Socket Not Connected" or something of that nature" - maybe look into port(s) u have it running on and also check for some firewall/port blocking on your network; check the network card on the server...I guess there is more info on these forms and connections being slow and dropping...find your OS and platform match...I saw simmilar post...if not then post some more info here. all the best!
Garry Claridge Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 Which "Port" are you using? All the best. Garry
