AudioFreak Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 On the Filemaker web site. There is a page stating you can drag and drop excel spreadsheets into a Filemaker database. Are they referring to import or is it actually a drag and drop? http://www.filemaker.com/promos/50dollar_rebate.html
hayesk Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 If it is the same as previous versions of FileMaker (I have 5.5, but not 6), they are referring to the import. You could try to drag a spreadsheet into table view, but I don't know if it will work.
falkaholic Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 You can drag a Excel file onto the FileMaker app to create a basic new database with the same columns and data.
kenneth2k1 Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Yes! It's pretty cool. It's an import, but it's more like a drag-and-drop import/file creation. It creates the fields (if you want) and everything. ken
