Incomplete results in web search

Hi,

I have a web set up to interface with my Filemaker database. Everything works really well - except that when I perform a search through the web, not all of the matching records appear.

For example, if I perform a search in my browser for all records with an identified language of "English", only 130 matching records appear. However, there are over 1100 records in the file with a language of "English". The -max value doesn't affect this.

No other search criteria produces any results at all, by the way. "Language" is the only search field that gives me results, and they're incomplete.

I'm using Filemaker 5. Please help, I've been struggling with this for a while and think I need a different perspective. I've attached my search file.

Thanks,

Amy

Please disregard this plea for help - I finally figured out that the drop down menus were causing this problem. Once I replaced them with text fields, I get all the right records in my results list.

Hi Amadda,

I've just posted "CDML -Op values and Symbols demo" on the Sample Files forum. In that you will find a drop down (or pop-up) list of operator values that works. Compare its code with the code of your now abandoned drop down. You may find it useful - or not.

Thanks - drop down lists would certianly help. I'll check out your sample files.
