Hi! I need to write a cookie but I do not know how to write it. Does anyone know of an online tutorial or something like that? I use FM4 and web companion (CDML). Thanks

Please check the CDML files. look for FMP-Cookie.

But i think even better : use javascript, i think in this forum there have been some issues discuss with cookie build by FM self.

Your JavaScript cookies will be more reliable, than the FM ones.

Anatoli, are you no longer touting -tokens instead of cookies? Is this what Lasso has done to you? laugh.gif

Sure, -tokens are programmer's best friend and I do use them exclusively with CDML.

But even in CDML I am sometimes reading JS cookie to fill in some fields in forms. Not mission critical data.

In Lasso I am using sessions and not tokens, but that is still similar concept as tokens. Lasso Sessions can be passed as cookies as well, but then (again) cookies are not 100% reliable.
