Searching the field for multiple values.

Featured Replies

How to search the field for multiple values from the web with? For example, I would like to find the records containing Panasonic & Nokia in Manufacturer field. Thanks.

You can use "-lop=or". Your URL would look like this:

/FMPro?-db=mydb.fp5&-lay=mylayout&-format=mypage.html&-lop=or&manufacture=Panasonic Nokia&-find

or

/FMPro?-db=mydb.fp5&-lay=mylayout&-format=mypage.html&-lop=or&manufacture=Panasonic&manufacture=Nokia&-find

Hope this helps.

Garry

FM doesn't like more of logical operators and various combinations. Sometimes is necessary to create formulas and calculation in FM database for web queries.

Garry's example should work OK.
