September 12, 200322 yr Gee Wow. Sounds like the folks at FMI have done developers another favor in their latest version (FMPro 6.x) by opening a BRAND NEW security hole through which a cracker can drive data. It seems that in FMPro 5.x a developer did not need to place a calculated field on a layout in order to display the data therein via a browser. And - as a matter of security - fields which are not on layouts do not appear in many cracking tools and techniques. That functionality of security has disappeared in version 6.x thanks to the wonderful family of engineers at FMI. No, no, don't thank me. Send the good folks at FMI your thanks and let them know how wonderful they are.
