I have resently enhereted a filemaker 4, webcompaion and claris home page solution. I would like to get some decent web statistics. Any suggestions? (the log file is a bit poor)

I've researched these and had very little success with Filemaker 4. Instead I wrote my own reporting stuff, by putting in what the page request was and the IP from the client. Of course that assumes you have "-new" or "-edit" statements.

In more advanced FM versions, the INLINE is great to log into database anything required for later analysis.

Unfortunately FMP 4.x used its own web log format, so common web statistics tools aren't compatible with it. FMI saw the error of their ways and changed the log format in FMP 5.0.
