I have a file of OS X Themes (buttons, etc.) for Mac OS X system. I downloaded it somewhere, but can't remember where (maybe FM Directory?). The themes are great and offer 8 different colors of buttons. However, several of the buttons have a lime colored line on the left hand section of the button. I don't know how to remove this line. I tried to do something in Illustrator, but my knowledge of that program is limited.

Does anyone know how to remove these lines? Does anyone have this file without the lines?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

The file you're referring to is from Martin D. Brunner I think.

I had that issue too, while I've checked back and couldn't locate those troublesome buttons.

If I can remember, this happens only on the rectangle buttons, so I fixed this by erasing the line (which actually in my case was rather a "vertical line") with AppleWorks, then lassoing the modified button.

Not sure what you can do with Illustrator, but it may be worth you take a look at other tools if you need to create or re-create your own buttons.

In the meanwhile, if you need that button, or a few ones to be modified, just tell which ones you need and I'd attach the modified buttons here.

Ugo, it does sounds like the same problem. If you could attach the buttons you fixed that would be great!

The buttons or tabs that have the line through them are:

Turquoise, Aqua, Purple, Anthrazite, and "Buttons". If you have them without the line, that would be great.

Here's the set of left Tab buttons modified. I just hope it will be sufficient. From what I can see, these are the only ones with this problem.

Not a great FM Work, but still an fp5 file. Tell if you need other buttons I couldn't identify.

May be you should directly adress a comment to Martin D. Brunner who kindly offered this file to the FM Community.

Merci Ugo, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Lee, thank you for referring me to the fmfiles site. This is where I think I originally downloaded this file. If you look closely at Turquoise, Aqua, Purple, etc. buttons, you will notice a faint yellow/lime stip along the left portion of the button. This is what I was seeking to correct. The files from Ugo did the trick.
