Out of the blue, a new host has shown up on EVERY client computer. It is under LOCAL HOSTS and is FILEMAKER PRO SERVER TRIAL

Anybody ever seen this before? If so, what where how who ....::

Somebody installed the FMS trial version on your local area network. Get them to un-install it.

I just knew it was a bad idea to let some interns right out of college have a hand in all this. sigh. Big wise boss of hospital IT people decided to have "backup" for me. None of them have ever even heard of File Maker before. But, they were given the software to install FMP on their machines and then to "browse" the scripts etc to learn it.

I just can't wait to see what they do to it. Now I have to find where they installed this trial version.

Now one installed 5.5 trial version on the network!!!! I had a bunch of clients trying to connect to that with 3.0. What a mess. I'll be in therapy for years. crazy.gif
