FileMaker WinXP Codepage problem

Hi.

I'm running FM6 on several win2000 and winXP computers using codepage 850 (in Iceland). We have two special icelandic characters which sometimes get us in some problems. I had to change one computer and the new one came with winXP and codepage 437 (US). I changed the codepage to 850 and installed FM6. At my surprice the special icelandic characters did not show up??? I uninstalled FM6 and installed again and nothing changed. Have you any idea what could be the problem here?:P? It works fine on all other computers in the company???

I can set any our W1250 codepage characters from Windows system. That is Central Europe.

Did you set the field with the font with the same character set?

I dit set the field with the character set which is standard 850 here in Iceland.

I have FM6 running on WinNT 4.0, Win2000 and WinXP and when I open the same database on those other computers everything is fine?:P?

Maybe there are some local settings different?

What font are you using? What keyboard? Is it fine or not as above?
