Newbies robert-sl2 Posted March 29, 2004 Newbies Posted March 29, 2004 Lost the password to a database that hasn't been used in a while. It was made with and is being opened with FM Pro 3.0. I saw a post mentioning a 'default password' but I do not know how to reset this. If anyone can help me get back into my file, it would be appreciated. Thanks Rob Version: v3.x Platform: Windows 2000
BobWeaver Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 You can't reset a password unless you are already able to get into the file with the full password. Your options are to send the file to Filemaker Inc. to get them to recover the password (if they still offer this service), or find a password recovery utility.
