Fact: list view in IWP only shows 5 records. Not very usefull imho.

Some people say it can be fixed with a portal, though some reports tell me there are locking problems on the first record when using portals.

Who can make a working IWP sample with a portal that shows more than 5 records?

it should have a list and detail view, clicking on a record in list view jumps to detail view.

FileMaker Version: 7

Platform: Windows XP

I think 5 records for portal ... are the max built in.

I have not seen any limitation on the number of records that come across in a portal via IWP. If anything I have seen a problem of too many records in a portal slowing down page loading too much.

Then create a list view and look at it with a web-browser.

The limitation is there B) 5 records.

_lieven_ I think maybe there is a misunderstanding as to the diference between viewing records via a portal and via list view. I have a number of examples where via IWP your can view multiple (many more then five) related records in a portal. If you are viewing records in a portal, there is no need to use list view. You can then navigate to a detail page by placing a navigation button in the portal row.

If you look at stu1023's response, you will see he also is not having problem with using with portals via IWP. If you are having problems, possibly the limitation might not be of FM IWP...
