June 18, 200421 yr I'm having some trouble putting together a report of summaries. I have an orders database with many orders in it and some aggregate calculations (i.e. Total quantity sold by product, total revenue by product, gross margin by product, etc...) I'm trying to make a report that looks like this: Broker (Sales Type) Product 1 1555 $30,000 Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Direct Product 1 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Out Of State Product 1 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) As you can see, I want to summarize report on aggregate calculation data rather than data for each individual record. So far, I've gottent this to work but it will put an entry for each record. Is there anyway to combine all the broker sales of product 1 into 1 entry rather than have: Broker Product 1 1555 $30,000 Product 1 1555 $30,000 Product 1 1555 $30,000 Product 1 1555 $30,000 Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Direct Product 1 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Out Of State Product 1 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 2 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 3 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) Product 4 (Quantitity sold) (Revenue) ? Thanks for any help.
June 18, 200421 yr It appears as if you already have a subsummary by Sales Type, so just add another subsummary by Product below it and sort by Sales Type, then Product. You don't need a body for this report, since you only want a summary of all the records, not the individual records involved. Your QuantitySold and Revenue fields will be summary fields based on each field.
