i have 3 ifs i want to put into a calculation.

If ( Left ( Subject;14 ) = "Sold, ship now"; "amazon")

If (Left ( Subject;31 ) = "Alibris Purchase Notification #"; "alibris")

If ( Left ( Subject;15 ) = "Abebooks Order:"; "abebooks")

how would i put them into a calculation field?

Use a Case, it is a lot easier to write and understand.

Case(Left(Subject, 14)= "Sold, ship now", "amazon",

Left(Subject, 31 ) = "Alibris Purchase Notification #" , "alibris",

Left(Subject, 15 ) = "Abebooks Order:", "abebooks"

)
