Quick question.

I am setting up a GetSummary and the breakfield is in another database. The GetSummary is not working when I sort by the breakfield.

All my other summaries work.

What is happening?

Is there a relationship? If so, is it linked correctly?

Yes there is a relationship. It is linked correctly because all of my other fields are pulling thie info from the database. I can't seem to get the GetSummary function to work.

I may be wrong, but I would think that using a related break field (in another table) for GetSummary would not work, since the sort order for the current table does not affect that of the related table.

Ok, 1 more question. Where is the field that is sorted in the Get Summary? Is it in the main or related db? You may need to change that

That seemed to be the problem is that you can't refer to another field in another dbase which is wierd.

Too bad, but I am just converting it over.

What if you create the GetSummary field in the related database, then reference it?
