Can you import and export data in a runtime?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am trying to determine if runtimes will do for a project, or if I'm stuck using full copies of FM pro. I'm hoping that you can answer some questions for me.

What are the limitation to importing and exporting data when using a runtime (is it possible; if so, what formats can you use; can you export data from one runtime and import it into a different runtime; etc.)?

Thanks in advance for the help

Yes, you can import and export data from runtimes. You can directly import data from one FM file to another, or you can use 'intermediate' files like .mer or .csv.

Be careful of an incompatibility in importing between FM5-6 files and FM 7...the direct file import won't work.
