Can anyone give me any tips on making nicer looking layouts. I rfere to background colors. I seem to be stuck with just the pallette colors. I want to have options, like a metal looking layout, order shimmering green.

Any tips?

I found one way, but there may be a lot easier of a way.

I make a pretty background in Word. Save it as a HTML file. Go in to the folder it makes, and insert *.gif file in to Filemaker, then extend that accross the layout.

Please tell me there is an easier way....

For a metal-looking layout, see the FM sample file "Sales Reports.fp5."

Is that in FP 7?? I will have 7 in a week, but currently I only have 5.5.

Check the Sample file area for files called Aqua, there are a few.

Where is "Sample File", are you talking about a new file template, or layout themes?
