Right now my application allows the user to perform a search on one window then show the results onto a new window. The problem that I am having is that when they keep the results window open and go back to the window where they perform the search and conduct a different search I can't get the new results to show in the existing results windo. The existing open results window always retains its current found set.

Does anyone know how I might refresh the existing results window with the new found set.

Thanks.

"The existing open results window always retains its current found set."

Correct. And this is wonderful news. Because it means that one can open several windows with different found sets of the same data. Just repeat the process and open another window. You can close the prior window if you really want to and open the new window in the exact same position.

However, I'm finding Users frequently want to either view both found sets side-by-side or close the first and view the original found set again.

I ended up checking if the window existed. If the window existed then I selected the window then perform the go to related record and constrain find in that window.

It works fine with the small exception of the window changing a layout then returning again to the correct layout. If only freeze window worked well on list view.

I wish there was a "Go To Related Record " and an additional option of using an existing window.
