I'm new to Filemaker and just created a file that tracks club information. Is there any way to create the file so it can be used by others who do not have the filemaker program? Does FM Developer do this? Required?

Are there any other options without purchasing FM Developer?

Hi, Rocket, and welcome to FM Forums! Yes, FM Developer is required to create run-time versions of a Filemaker database (that is, those that can be run on machines that do not have FM installed). That is the only option for distributing a Filemaker solution.

You also have the custom web publishing and instant web publishing options, of which i am completely ignorant. But there are a number of people on this site who know a lot about it. Take a look at those forums.
