Newbies Yitzchok Posted May 13, 2020 Newbies Posted May 13, 2020 I would like to meet one of the filemaker experts so does anyone live in the area of N16 London, England
Newbies KylieF Posted July 30, 2020 Newbies Posted July 30, 2020 comment, Do you have a newer version of your DershowitzNew.zip file that you are using now or are you still using the same thing? I have also been given a task of creating a database to manage my boss's synagogue's member database and he mentioned a challenge with Hebrew dates and calculating yahrzeits. Is your solution still the best thing available or do you recommend something else?
comment Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Haven't looked at it for quite a while but I believe it's still solid. These days you also have the option of using an API.
Newbies KylieF Posted July 30, 2020 Newbies Posted July 30, 2020 Not sure what I could do here with an API but I had a look at your calculated field and it looks amazing. I remember reading in the earlier comments of 2005 that there might be a problem in 14 years time - did that problem get programmed out in the end? Is it likely there is a problem now?

My implementation will also run out eventually - but that will happen after the year 4000, which is the highest year Filemaker can handle.
