Could someone help out with a full rundown on all prodycts available to put FM on the web. I see many people are balking at upgrading to FM 7 Server Adv and losing all their CDML, so I'd just lilke to get a full list of alternatives out there

What I know.

IWP - simple, not too secure

Server Advanced - XML and XSLT web publishing

Lasso - LDML and nice feature set

iApp - not sure what it really does, seems kinda hokie

fx.PHP - not sure, does PHP and FM?

other alternatives:

straight PHP and SQL

Coldfusion

ASP

What else do we have to put our databases online? Especially keeping FM as the main backend.

There seems to be some scattered discussion on the board, what I'd like to do is just make a full comprehensive list.

thanks

A

IWP can be set so that only certain IP addresses may access your Home Page. You can also change the port number from 80 if you wish. Therefore, IWP is not necessarily "not too secure"--it can be secure if you configure it properly.
