March 9, 200520 yr I'm new to this, and I'm not sure what the correct terms are for what I'm trying to do, but here goes: I'm using the Substitute function to remove some punctuation from a field. How do I string the Substitute functions together so that all punctuation can be removed in one calculation? Below is an example of what I'm trying to do...the calculation doesn't work and I don't know the proper way of combining the statements. Thanks! Substitute(title, ",", "") and Substitute(title, ".", "") and Substitute (title, "_", "")

March 9, 200520 yr Off of the top of my head, what you want to do is to gang the Substitute Function something like this. Substitute(Substitute(Substitute(Substitute(Substitute(title, "," , ""), "." , ""), "_" , ""), ";" , ""), ":" , "") HTH Lee
