Uses Batch file so possibly windows only, attached file is fmp7.

NO PLUGIN REQUIRED!

1. Filename obtained from embedded file via calc on the container.

2. Push Open button runs a script that-

Exports file using a generic name, a batch scipt file is created and then run that changes file to original filename. File is then opened via an open url script.

1 Button, no user input.

WARNING- one downside is that it will not open files that have a space in their filename.

INPUT on this would be good if there is a work around.

The calculation as shown should work. do you have the fields involved Text and the Result of Text?

What is is doing or not doing? Maybe a sample of the URL will help narrow it down

With respect, this is a section for Sample Files & Open Source Solutions. I think forum members expect to learn something useful here? Learning they can purchase your product does not count - the Product Announcements section would be much more appropriate for that, IMHO.
