hi

I'm in a bind. I have written a script that allows a file to remain open for a given time and then it closes the file. Only problem is the script uses a loop with a time designated pause. I stupidly set the script to be run when the file is opened before I fully tested it. Now my file opens for the given time but I cannot access Scriptmaker to modify the script or most of all the other menus which means that the usefulness of the file is now limited. Does anyone know of a way of forcibly breaking the loop so that I can rectify the script ?

Many thanks

Do you recall whether you set Allow User Abort [ On ] at the beginning of that script?

Here are a few ideas to get yourself out of it. There may be other tricks out there as well.
