Viweing records in a portal in list view - spacing

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I am not new to using Filemaker, but I am new to working with the layout of a database. So forgive me if my terminology is a bit off...

I have a template that I have been using and have been making some modifications to it to fit my needs..I have adjusted the fields in a portal, but now when I browse the records in list view all the lines are double spaced, and I want to get them back to being single spaced.

Attached is a screen shot.

Any one got any ideas?...I would sure appreciate it.

Thank you!!

Kim

From the Screen Shot, it appears that in your adjustments, you move the bottom of your Body Part. This often happens when you add a field to a List View.

Move the bottom of your body part up against the bottom of the list. That 1/2 inch or so of space will appear on each record otherwise.

Just so you know, this is not a portal. It is a list view.

What JT said was the what I was trying to say.

Your 2nd screen shot just confirmed ti.
