I´m new, and noob with filemaker...probably u will joke but.....

How can I take (for example) just the second value from a repeating field to a singular field

GetRepetition(repeatingField;number)

or

repeatingField

repeatingField [2]

repeatingField [3]

repeatingField [4] ... etc

But you shouldn't take too much notice of the dealings with repeating field as yet ...because they're not needed at all in a solution, and should only be utilized for utility purposes.

Since you're a newbe/beginner isn't it likely to be needed before you gets really crafty with relations definitions without join tables ...for fields containing stuff that needs a statistic angle are they very near to being completly useless. Take a look at what David Kachel says about newbe pitfalls in this:

If you're in a rush just read what he writes on page 6, but no-one suffers from the entire whitepaper ...I can only urge you to read it thoroughly!!!
