Ok here is my problem,

I've got this calculation that places a few feilds into one text feild some of the feilds in this feild are prices, so i have a $ added

date1 & "   " & ref1_1 & "   " & ref2_1 & "   " & "$" & charges1 & "   " & "$" & credit1 & "   " & ref3_1 & "   " & C & "   " & SYS & "¶" & 

date2 & "   " & ref1_2 & "   " & ref2_2 & "   " & "$" & charges2 & "   " & "$" & credit2 & "   " & ref3_2 & "   " & C2 & "   " & SYS_2 & "¶" & 

date3 & "   " & ref1_3 & "   " & ref2_3 & "   " & "$" & charges3 & "   " & "$" & credit3 & "   " & ref3_3 & "   " & C3 & "   " & SYS_3 & "¶" &

how? if some of the feilds are empty can i get the $ not to display?

On a side not is there anyway for me to get them to display as if they were in coloums?

ok nevermind about the first question i figured that out.

by adding the $ to the feild before i import it to the text box, i was able to have it only add it if there was somethign in that feild.

to:

& Case ( IsEmpty( number ); ""; "$" & " " & number) &
