rezdragon Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 (edited) Ok here is my problem, I've got this calculation that places a few feilds into one text feild some of the feilds in this feild are prices, so i have a $ added date1 & " " & ref1_1 & " " & ref2_1 & " " & "$" & charges1 & " " & "$" & credit1 & " " & ref3_1 & " " & C & " " & SYS & "¶" & date2 & " " & ref1_2 & " " & ref2_2 & " " & "$" & charges2 & " " & "$" & credit2 & " " & ref3_2 & " " & C2 & " " & SYS_2 & "¶" & date3 & " " & ref1_3 & " " & ref2_3 & " " & "$" & charges3 & " " & "$" & credit3 & " " & ref3_3 & " " & C3 & " " & SYS_3 & "¶" & date4 & " " & ref1_4 & " " & ref2_4 & " " & "$" & charges4 & " " & "$" & credit4 & " " & ref3_4 & " " & C4 & " " & SYS_4 & "¶" & date5 & " " & ref1_5 & " " & ref2_5 & " " & "$" & charges5 & " " & "$" & credit5 & " " & ref3_5 & " " & C5 & " " & SYS_5 & "¶" & date6 & " " & ref1_6 & " " & ref2_6 & " " & "$" & charges6 & " " & "$" & credit6 & " " & ref3_6 & " " & C6 & " " & SYS_6 & "¶" & date7 & " " & ref1_7 & " " & ref2_7 & " " & "$" & charges7 & " " & "$" & credit7 & " " & ref3_7 & " " & C7 & " " & SYS_7 & "¶" & date8 & " " & ref1_8 & " " & ref2_8 & " " & "$" & charges8 & " " & "$" & credit8 & " " & ref3_8 & " " & C8 & " " & SYS_8 & "¶" & date9 & " " & ref1_9 & " " & ref2_9 & " " & "$" & charges9 & " " & "$" & credit9 & " " & ref3_9 & " " & C9 & " " & SYS_9 & "¶" & how? if some of the feilds are empty can i get the $ not to display? On a side not is there anyway for me to get them to display as if they were in coloums? Edited October 26, 2005 by Guest
rezdragon Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 ok nevermind about the first question i figured that out. by adding the $ to the feild before i import it to the text box, i was able to have it only add it if there was somethign in that feild.
Lee Smith Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 (edited) Hi You could also change your calculation here & "$" & charges1 & to: & Case ( IsEmpty( number ); ""; "$" & " " & number) & HTH Lee Edited October 26, 2005 by Guest err in calc
