Showing the First (Oldest) Entry in a Portal

Featured Replies

Ok Guys and Girls,

Simple question.

How do I show the First entry (the oldest) of a portal?

IE:

Date of Entry Description

1-2-05 Documents

1-5-04 Addendums

What I want just to show up in a sept date field is 1-5-04. For reports.

Oh, I do not want to resort the portal.

Thank you,

Joseph

Try the Min function with the date.

Thank you,

That did it...

Very cool.

Joseph

If you have not defined a sort order for the relationship (not the portal), you can simply place the related field on the layout. It will show data from the first-created related record (the default sort for a relationship).

What if you want to look at the 3 most recent values. You could use max of the date to show most recent but what about 3 values?
