FMP 8 vs. FMP 8 Advanced?

I'm planning on updating from FMP 5 to 8. What isn't fully clear is the difference between 8 and 8 advanced. I understand the ability to create runtime versions. The rest appears to more around making some things easier, versus adding different capabilities (ie. debugging).

My needs are intermittant (hence the long time between upgrades)and not particularly sophisticated. I'll be generally just putting together databases for myself or a small workgroup. But if the Advanced version has better tools, I can probably justify it just based on my time savings.

It'd be nice if the Apple stores had them both running, but the local one doesn't even have 8 installed yet.

Thanks

I would get FM8 Advanced for the following reasons:

1. Ability to copy and paste fields, tables, script steps etc.

2. Ability to create Custom Menus without a plugin

3. Data viewer (this has been such a big help)

4. Tooltips a plus

Things that were in FM7 Developer and previous Developer versions that were carried over to FM8:

1. Ability to walk through Script steps.

2. Custom Functions

These obviously are not all the new features but IMHO the most important to me. I would just Advanced for these features.
