That's kind of funny. That Viewer Table Demo is using a Mac OS X theme, though with modified buttons that look more Windows-like, inset (the text color being a variation of that "Windows blue"), but gradient objects (build in a graphics app), grayish, rounded rectangular shape. Which is a good idea, as the "jellybean" OS X buttons tend to be a bit extreme, too shiny, too rounded for FileMaker (I sometimes use clear ones however).

My point is that I think the best interfaces blend the best (and simplest) of Mac, Windows and native FileMaker, and that all 3 are evolving, in many ways becoming more like each other.

If you design to exactly mimic Windows XP your interface will become obsolete when Vista comes out. I haven't seen it yet, but I imagine it will look a little more modern, but overall much like XP. BTW, does anyone know a URL where they have screenshots of Vista?

Here are some vista screen shot sites:

Those should give you a good overview

Barbara, need a bit of clarification.

Are you looking for interface elements (IE: Buttons, etc) or are you looking for advice on how to fix the indentation problem you seem to be having with your column on the left of your interface?
