djc728 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Hello: I have a mac os X laptop that I would like to test some custom web pages with. I also have Filemaker 6 installed on the machine to launch the application. Could someone give me a high level overview of what i need to do in order to view these custom pages on my local web browser. I cant seem to get the custom web page to access the database. Could it be a port issue since I can't use port 80. How can i get the web page to look at port 591 to access the database? Dom
Garry Claridge Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 You can set Port 591 in the WebCompanion Plugin configuration panel. You could then use a URL like this to test: http://localhost:591/FMPro?-dbnames Good Luck. Garry
