Printing Problem Never Exerienced Before

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a problem I have never experienced before and I am almost starting to wnder if my DB is somehow corrupted.

I have several layouts in a database that no matter what I set the "Page set up" to it stays on 11 X 17.

If I choose letter, it is 11 X 17, Legal, whatever.

Have I accidetally hit a setting that I am not aware of?

Right now I am printing to PDF as I don;t have a printer in my Temporary Home (I am recently transplanted to San Diego) so I am wondering if it is an Acrobat thing.

My other layouts in related database perform as they should.

Just found something new, It appears almost like it is stuck in "Landscape"Mode.

I created a new empty DB and the print layouts are as they should be. I'm really stumped. What the heck have I done!

Thanks,

Steve

Ok. I'll give it a shot.

Are you sure it's only on a single layout?

If not, is it db exclusive? (you suggest it is)

Are you using a script/button to print? If so, double check the script for setup options. (most likely culprit if you use a script to print)

If not, try using a script to change the setup, then print. This should work regardless.

make sure you not have not chose "current record" in the print selector menu for filemaker. "records browsed" should be selected for printing reports. this bags me all the time.
