Report format issue

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have student file with the followings fields:

Studno

Name

Sex

Class

I was asked to do an student master list report sorted by Class then Sex but they want it in this format:

Primary 1A

Male......................Female

1. Will Smith.............1. Pamela

2. Jacky Chan.............2. Cristy

3. Bruce Willis...........3. Diana

4. Dennis Hopman

5. Neil

Primary 1B

Male......................Female

1. Andy...................1. Mary

2. John...................2. Jenny

3. Peter..................3. Bea

..........................4. Nora

..........................5. Beth

and so on and so forth...

I have no problem on straight forward reports but I can't figure out how to do the above. Any clue?

Thanks in advance,

Garry

Hi Garry,

You can not solve it by sub-summary partition feature, but there is a way doing that! :)

You can use relation to filter boys and girls than you can split them.

I prepare an example, you may look it to understand my solution clearly.
