Is it possible to have a checkbox with a tick for 'yes' and no tick for 'no'?

I'm not sure what you mean by [color:blue]tick here, Checkboxes are usually tied to a value lists, so if you want a Yes No boxs, just create a value list with:

Yes

No

as your options, and attach it to your filed of choice. if this isn't what you meant post back with more detail.

Sort of: if you make a value list that only contains "Yes", you will have a tick for "Yes" and no tick - and no label - for "No".

It's actually quite useful, especially if you make the field a number and use 1 instead of "Yes" - you can sum the field to get stats very easily.
