get data from a site

we must analyse data published in a site in asp format. is there any way that i get the data automaticaly from that site and if fm can update the data automaticaly?

Not sure exactly what the question is. There are different ways to "grab" the content of a web site. On Windows it requires a fair bit of VBscripting. I posted an example here a couple of months ago. If you do a search on this forum for "grab content of web page" you should be able to find it.

As publishing FM data in ASP (Active Server Page). Sure that can be done. By either using the XML returned by FMSA, or by making an ODBC connection from your ASP page to FMSA.

i cant find your example by searching, but in my situaion the database and the server system isnt accesible and we need somethings like "Web Parser" for grab data published as asp pages.

If you do a search on this forum for "grab content of web page" you should be able to find it.
