Restricting creation of portal rows

Featured Replies

Hi,

Having trouble getting my head around this. Help appreciated :)

Basically I have an invoice with line items. The editing of the record is set to the following calc:

Bills::AccountSubmit = "1" and Bills::glogin = Bills::CreationLogin

or

Bills::AccountSubmit = "1" and Bills::glogin = Bills::CreationOverwrite

Which essentially means you cannot edit the bill if you have submitted the bill, or if you didn't create it (unless you use the overwrite button).

My problem is - the user can't edit the items in the portal rows (correct), but can add new portal rows (wrong!).

So, how can I restrict the user so, using the verication above, the user is unable to add portal rows.

TIA

Hi, kiwiora!

Here is idea how you can restrict editing and adding rows on the portal.
