Better performance using Runtime ?

Hi,

I'm considering converting my in-house (FM6)application to runtime, but will only do so if it will enhance the performance of the system.

I have searched the forums and nowhere can I find any comment on whether converting to runtime will actrually make the application run faster or not...

Do not expect any improvement, if anything it is slower to start up.

Why not do yourself a trial run to prove it?

Keep in mind that a runtime cannot be shared...

Thanks guys. If it can't be shared and it won't run faster, then certainly no point in converting to runtime for me.
