Im not sure if this is the right area to post this in. Before I start designing a databse I want to make sure that what I want to achieve is possible. I need to make an advertising database where people can enter text and photos then output to PDF. the original photos and completed PDF would then be emailed to someone.

Is this possible in Filemaker? and probably more to the point, how hard is it?

Yes it is possible, it is one script step: Save Records As PDF, and you can select "attach to email" as a default.

FWIW I recently used this great new feature, however beware of the size of the PDFs that are generated. They are huge compared to proper Acrobat or Mac OS X's built in PDF production.

It should also be mentioned that 'Save To PDF' will be disabled in a runtime or kiosk, and it can't combine multiple PDFs into 1 file.
