Global Data Persistance with FX.PHP?

Featured Replies

We are attempting to use FX.PHP to get a small application up on the Web. We have FM Server Advanced 8.

One of my scripts sets a Global. The Global is in a Related Table but in the same File.

We have Relationships that use this Global, and Caculations that use those Relationships.

Our first script call sets the Global. The second script call retrieves the Calculations (using the Relationships & Global).

As of now, it does not appear that the Global gets assigned. Our Calculations don't change anyway.

Can we change & retain the Global Data as we make multiple calls through FX?

I assumed so, but since each call seems to be its own session, I'm not so sure.

Could be another problem entirely, but the Global seems to be the problem.

You might try to turn on database sessions in the web admin console. See p. 88 of the FMSA CWP guide.
