I am new to FileMaker and working on a script for work. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get values from a radio button.

sorry, i guess i wasn't very clear. thanks for the response though...here's what i have...

i have two layouts: software and non-software assets. i have a radio button that i have on each record that shows if it is software or non-software. i want to make it so i can put "next" or "previous" buttons on the page that when clicked, will check for whether the next/prev. record is software/non-software, and display the record in the right layout.

i'm just not sure how to get values from radio buttons.

This is an example for theNEXT button:

Go to record [next]

If[radio = "software"]

go to layout [software]

else

go to layout [non-software]

end if

The radio button field has to have a list attached with custom values:

software

non-software
