Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 (edited) This is definitely the smallest file i've ever posted ... someone noticed that in 8.5 os x updates the window dims in real time ... so here is a mac tested file which resizes an image in the fly ... sure this will be useful ... obviously if you only set it to resize height or width it would be to scale ... but can't work out how to test for size of web image. Tip: Change window size to resize image pretty cool anyway ResizeImage.fp7.zip Edited September 16, 2006 by Guest
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 Would like to know if x platform...
Raybaudi Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Cool !! And finally it works on windows too ! :)
Raybaudi Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Stuart please, give me the code that I have to insert into the WV, so to show a stored picture.
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 (edited) hurray!!! Its embedded in the webviewer Choose ( Abs ( Get ( SystemPlatform ) )-1 ; "Data:text/html," ; "About:" ) & "" That url is embedded all my others where field refs ... one step closer ... bet this doesn't work ... but can you modify to sort it now you have one of mine that does. Then I can correct all the others. I would try the Evaluate ( ) function first. best Stuart ResizeImageToModify.fp7.zip Edited September 16, 2006 by Guest
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 PS the Height and Width fields float on top of the WV (as a merge field) this is required for the WV to update the values.
Raybaudi Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I'm on XP. the second file is workig too... and I think that is better to place that calc in a field vs into the WV, so yes the second is better for me. PS: I voted Yes
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 (edited) Misread the vote Hmmm now im confused as all of my other files use the same schema? bummer :) Edited September 16, 2006 by Guest
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 Does this url work embedded in the webviewer and/or ref from a field? If no can you make it work or see any obvious problems with it? It would be a great help to know. Source.txt
Raybaudi Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Not sure why you have attached the URL as a text file ... Even not sure that the URL is "http://www.fmforums.com/attachments/uploads/1158378721-Source.txt" ... BTW: if that was the URL, I was able to go there in both the way, see a black page with this inside: http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/180028/
Stuart Taylor Posted September 16, 2006 Author Posted September 16, 2006 (edited) mac data:text/html, pc about: Should think this will work on windows if you keep within the limit ... think i found limit on wikipedia About: page. Edited September 16, 2006 by Guest
