Hi, can I get a field to display the last date a record was modified without any user interaction, i.e they do not have to press a button to say the record has been modified

Set your field to be an auto entry with the option of 'modification'. You can then select a variation of date or time stamp to store

If you only need to know if and when a record was modified, then Phil has provided a way to do this. However, if you want to track the changes to specific fields, then do a [color:blue]Search of the [color:blue]Forum for [color:red]Audit or [color:red]Field Modification Tracking system.
