I have two (2) questions that I cannot seem to locate any documentation on.

1. How can I do an alphabetical search on pop-up menu within a portal? For example, I want to see only the names of customers that start with a particular letter and not the entire customer list so I have to scroll through 300 names.

2. Is there a way to display the results of a calculation field in the [color:red]current layout, without the same result being show in each portal row? I need to be able to see the result of a particular calculation for each customer in each portal row.

For your first question, look up 'filtered' portal'. You will have to create a relationship froma field with the list of letters to the names field.

As for your second question, why wouldnt you want individual field data for each record. The portal is there to show the related records so each record should display its own calculation.
