FileMaker Solutions Alliance Partner is looking for a several FileMaker Pro database programmers of varying skill level to develop and maintain cross-platform database projects. Creating estimates, managing projects and interfacing with customers will be a component of this job as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Meet with clients, analyze business processes, build estimates, and manage projects

- Develop FileMaker Pro 6, 7, 8 and 8.5 relational database applications

- Troubleshoot and support existing custom database projects

- Implement our FileMaker-based solutions and plug-ins

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- 2-5 + years programming experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science preferred

- FileMaker 7 Certified preferred

- FileMaker 8 Certified preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Strong skills in programming FileMaker Pro 6, 7, 8 and 8.5 database solutions

- Strong skills in relational database design

- Strong skills in FileMaker Pro scripting and calculations

- Experience in project management and estimate creation

- Experience in FileMaker Server installation and configuration

- Experience in XML, XSLT, CDML, IWP and PHP a plus

- Experience using Windows domain controllers and networking a plus

- Trade show experience a plus

- Knowledge is important, but the ability and motivation to learn is essential

- Be a team player, but self motivated

- Project management and system analysis skills

- Enjoy giving top-level customer service, good communication skills

- The ability to multi-task, and adjust to ever changing requirements

- Candidate must be detail oriented and take pride in his/her work
