Graham S Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Hi, I have a customer order data base. I have a layout for printing labels showing customer info and product info. I need to print a label for each product ordered by a customer. For example: If they ordered 6 apples and 2 oranges, I need to print 6 apple labels and 2 orange labels with the customer name on and product info on them. What steps do I need to take in order to do this? I am able to print one label for each type of product for a customer, but can't work out how to get multiples to print according to their order quantity. Thank you in advance.
Graham S Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 That's exactly what I need. Many thanks! -G
Newbies mogrod Posted February 1, 2007 Newbies Posted February 1, 2007 I'm having the same issue, but in FP6. I've set up a label layout so that sales reps can print labels for each or all of their contacts. But, when trying to print one client's info for a label, it only prints one and only in the top left corner of the sheet. I've had to learn this program on the fly so any and all help is GREATLY appreciated.
mr_vodka Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Did you check your print setting to see if it is printing only the 'Current Record' or 'All Records'?
Newbies mogrod Posted February 1, 2007 Newbies Posted February 1, 2007 Well, I've tried it both ways. They want to be able to print multiple labels of the same record on a sheet. Right now all it does is print that record once in the top left corner of the page. What if they want to print 2, 3, 8 or even a whole page of the same record? Also, is there no way to print on any other page other than that one top left label? The boss is switching all the sales reps to Macs and Filemaker from their ACT on PC and they liked this option of telling it which label to print on a page. Again, I appreciate the help.
