Yes I can see that his tutorials must be helful, but i feel that the instructions which are given in the apple format might be confusing when i try to apply it to regular windows.

Any thoughts on that?

I believe that he is primarily a Window person, but it does not effect what you will learn, as FileMaker is cross platform.

Yeah, the FileMaker interface is pretty much the same on both Windows and Mac.

They differ only in that you shouldn't develop in multiple windows in Windows (annoying restore issues) and a couple of minor script steps that are platform specific e.g. "Send Applescript"

I've learned a lot off John's site, everything he teaches is applicable to Windows, he just prefers the look of Mac as far as i can tell.
