Posting a Script.

Ok, broke down and purchased FM 8.5 Advanced, shezz, the trouble it would have saved me earlier in copying scripts and dealing with them in general! Anyway, is there a way to post a script other then a screen shot, or making a sample file?

Don't know the answer to your question but congratulations on your purchase, an amazing program and will save you lots of time over the normal 8.5 version.

On a Mac, the easiest way is to print to preview and then copy it.

Not sure on Windows, but you can try that and see what happens.

There is always print to a Text file, and the open it and copy it. Also, you could try print to PDF and see what you get.

Hello,

Recently got 8.5 myself. Under the tools menu you will find database design report - extremely useful tool - gives you all the stuff on your database. Very straight forward to use. Save as an html report which opens in your web browser. You can then select the script you wish to see and then copy it from there.

Trust this helps.

You are right, the DDR does give a vast amount of information about the database. However, it is a bit of an overkill it a person only wants to copy a specific script and paste it to the Forum for review. Especially, when you can open ScriptMaker, select the script, and print it out directly.
