Relation Ship with Portal Rows

Featured Replies

Hi there

My goal for this relation ship is the creation of a new record and seeing the newly created record in the portal, once it shows in the portal click and seeing the selected record. In my case once I create a new record it wont show up in the portal. Its hard to explain maybe just look at the file.

Thanks for the help as always.

Great thanks for the help, but is there any way to have a solution without the popup window?

Thanks

TMAS

You can have the script create a new record in the records table, store the new recordID into the global field, go back to the orig password layout and then prompt user to enter the data.

Ouch, sorry to ask but could you add this feature to the file? I dont understand.

I tried to put "New Record" script and "Global" together but it does not work.

Thanks

There is one bug, if I delete a entry I cannot edit any field anymore.

Any ideas?

TMAS

I am not sure what kind of issues with deletion you are having. Also keep in mind that this was just a sample to give you ideas. It wil be up to you to make sure that in your real solution you take into account for thing such as error trapping.
