Adding portal information to text field - tough one?

Featured Replies

I have three records that contain a phone name and a phone number, and they are all related by a store number.

For example, the records contain:

Store Number - Phone Name - Phone Number

C0001 - Store - 404-555-1212

C0001 - Truck - 404-555-1213

C0001 - Office - 404-555-1214

I need to create a text field that I will use to create a label to place on the back of each phone (they are cell phones), where each label will have the phone number of itself followed by the two other phones.

So, the label for the Store phone would look like this:

Store 404-555-1212 (with Store in bold type)

Truck 404-555-1213

Office 404-555-1214

And the label for the Truck phone would look like this:

Truck 404-555-1213 (with Truck in bold type)

Store 404-555-1212

Office 404-555-1214

So, I need to place the phone name and number into a text field in each record - but I can't figure out how to place the other related/portal records into the text field.

Thanks in advance.

Step 1: define a self-join as:

Phones::StoreNumber = Phones 2::StoreNumber

AND

Phones::SerialID ≠ Phones 2::SerialID

Step 2 has many options, the simplest one consisiting of placing the 3 "local" fields on top, and a sliding portal to Phones 2 beneath.
