mlindal Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 We have a database with fields that contain url data. This data is displayed dynamically as links on our site. The question is: Can we (through a plugin or other means) test the url to see if it is live or changed. Then we would want to flag it and alert the owner of the record that the link is no longer valid.
Genx Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 In FM 8.5 there is a native way to do it, you might have a look at the Troi URL plugin (but i can't tell you if it was supported for that version)
Martin Brändle Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 You might export the links and use a linkchecker such as linklint.
